Opening Gates of Mesmerizing Forts of Rajasthan through the eyes of Rajasthan

Rajasthan is nationwide known for its historical forts and huge palaces. Tourism is major source of generating economy. Mostly international tourism is fascinating towards our colorful diverse culture. Even I belong from Rajasthan, so its interestingly makes me pleasure in showcasing our culture to us. After I moved in Jaipur, I realized there is so much we are missing in our history. I found so many Rajasthani friends who were nothing just building a chapter of knowledge which I was lacking throughout. Rajasthan named driven through its old name “Rajputana” due to majority of Rajputs out there.

Hereby I am trying to put some rays of light to the mesmerizing forts of Rajasthan:

Hawa Mahal, Jaipur

Jaipur is the luxuries capital of Rajasthan which embellished with the most number of forts and the luxuries palace where the dynasty of kings still ruling the palace-“City Palace”. The forts of Jaipur include Nahargarh fort, Amber Fort, Nahargarh Fort, Hawa Mahal, Jaigarh fort, Moti Doongri and few more to go. Once you reach Jaipur the list never ends. Jaipur is a place which is the top most place in the priority list of international tourist and traveller who love architecture.

Udaipur – The lake City

Amidst of desert, there is city of lakes- Udaipur. A city named after the king Udai singh. And commonly famous as Lake City because there are total 7 lakes in the city- Udaipur. It’s the city of lakes and great palaces. The city also consists one of the grand City Palaces in India. The Taj Palace in built in the one of the great lake of Udaipur. One of the lakes in City is Dudh Talai, which leads to peaceful journey’s in the city. The city should must be in your Padharo Rajasthan travel bucket list. Rajasthan is incomplete without Udaipur. Trust me, it will change your perspective towards Rajasthan.

Chittorgarh Fort

Chittorgarh fort is one of the largest fort of India, also shining in the list of UNESCO World Heritage. Chittor was prominent capital of Mewar. Mewar which gives us diamonds like the great “Maharana Pratap”, Rana Kumbha, Raja Ratan Rawal, Udai Singh, Rana Sanga, Gora-Badal. These are only few names which I remember on tips. Otherwise, it’s a place of where History is written in golden words. That’s the place where 3 majors “Jauhar’s” (Self Immolation). The first one and the most dignified Jauhar was of Rani Padmini(Wife of Raja Rawal Ratan) against Allauddin Khilji in 1303. Where almost 3000 womens self immolated themselves.

Jodhpur – Place of Royal Dynasty

Jodhpur is city which has the one of the greatest forts in India – Mehrangarh Fort, situated on the top of mountain. A must have experiences to encounter when you are in Jodhpur. Some of the great Folk artists give live performances in special events. And how can we forget – the Umaid Bhawan Palace. The palace is the signature of royal dynasty of Jodhpur who currently living in the palace. The palace also seen in few Bollywood movies. The Palace where Priyanka Chopra’s wedding took place. The name of the palace named upon Raja Umaid Singh.

Kota – City of Dreams

Chambal Valley, Kota

Kota is not just a place. Its city of emotions, dreams and heartbreaks. Its city which enlightens the greatest successes and greatest downfalls of any students life. Its place which gives top rankers to the Nations and it’s the place now famous for Suicide City. It’s a place where students from every states comes to fulfil their dreams in selection in IIT-NEET, IIM. It’s a city empire of ALLEN/AKASH Institutions, which gives rank holders to our nation, but on the other hand, they gives failure which many students can’t bear.

On the other hand, It is the place of Seven wonders park, replica of seven wonders of world in India. City where Badri ki Dulhaniya movie and Mann Bharaya Song shot. The Garadiya Mahadev is an amazing must have experience in the city. It is situated on Chambal valley. The sunset in Chambal valley is must have experience in Kota.
